Avocent's LCD Console Tray family offers a variety of features that simplifies and provides ease of access to servers, making software upgrades, troubleshooting and system monitoring convenient and less time consuming. The family consists of two product groups:
LCD Console Tray-only models
The Avocent 1U-high LCD Console Tray-only models provide convenient, direct atthe-rack access to KVM switches in enterprise data centers and SMB server rooms.
Features:
- Either 17- or 19-inch LCDs at 1280x1024 resolution at 60Hz
- U SB pass-through allows at-the-rack access to USB media and other USB devices; connect directly to a server or an Avocent virtual media KVM switch (purchased separately) to enable the USB pass-through (select models only)
- Dual-rail options available on select 17-inch models

LCD Console Tray with integrated KVM models (8-port and 16-port)
The Avocent 1U-high LCD console-integrated KVM models provide convenient, atthe-rack access in enterprise data centers and SMB server rooms via KVM switches.
Features:
- The LCD Console Tray with integrated KVM models are two powerful appliances combined into a single U, freeing rack space for other appliances or servers
- 17-inch LCD at 1280x1024 resolution at 60Hz
- U SB pass-through allows at-the-rack access to USB media and other USB devices; connect directly to a server or an Avocent virtual media KVM switch (purchased separately) to enable the USB pass-through (select models only)
- Current ECS17KMM8/16 models include Avocent AutoView® 3008/30016 8- or 16-port digital KVM over IP switches providing access for one remote and one local user; these KVMs also feature an Onboard Web Interface (OBWI) for remote and secure management of servers and serial-based devices
- Current AP17KMM8/16 models include 8- or 16-port analog KVM switches
